Man arrested as Matlock officers crack down on drugs offences

A man was arrested in Matlock for drugs offences as the Safer Neighbourhood Team headed out to crack down on crime.

Police searched a property in Gorsey Bank, Wirksworth on Tuesday, December 17 and found over 70 suspected cannabis plants inside.

A 28-year-old man was arrested for the production of cannabis and abstracting electricity and has been bailed pending further inquiries.
