Information appeal after a firework caused damage to a Matlock property

Police in Matlock are appealing for information after a lit firework was posted through the letterbox of a property in the area.

At around 8.30pm on Wednesday, November 5, a lit firework caused minor damage after it was posted through the letterbox of a property on Hurst Farm Estate in Matlock.

Two men, who were possibly aged in their late teens, were believed to have been seen running from the address.

Anyone with any information, or who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area, is asked to contact PC Chad Fullerton on 101, quoting crime number 46999/14.
