Matlock residents are encouraged to set policing priorities for their community

Posted on 27th February 2014

Residents in Matlock and surrounding areas are invited to join their local Safer Neighbourhood team to help set policing priorities for their area.

The team will be hosting their next Safer Neighbourhood governance meeting on Wednesday, March 5 from 5.30pm.

The meeting, which will be held at Matlock police station, Bank Road, will give people the opportunity to set local policing priorities for their area.

Residents from the Safer Neighbourhood areas of Matlock, Matlock Bath, Cromford and Bonsall, Darley Dale and Winster are invited to attend to raise any concerns for their community.

The policing team will then focus on combating the issues and will keep residents informed with their work to tackle the crimes.

Officers from the team will also be on hand to offer crime prevention advice to help residents to increase their personal, vehicle and home security.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to put forward any issues contact your local Safer Neighbourhood policing team on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.

Alternatively, email the team at matlock.neighbourhoods@derbyshire.pnn.police.uk
