Appeal after money is stolen from elderly woman in Taddington

We are appealing for information following theft from an elderly woman in Taddington earlier this week.

On the morning of Monday, February 27, a door step caller visited a property on Main Street in Taddington selling cleaning products.

Once inside, the 93-year-old victim bought a pair of scissors and the man left. It is believed that £30 was stolen from the property.

Following the incident, we are appealing for residents in the area who may have been visited by a door step caller on Monday to get in touch.
