Officers arrest a man in connection with abstracting electricity in Tideswell

Police have charged a 55-year-old man in connection with an incident of abstracting electricity in Tideswell.

On Friday, July 4, officers attended a property on Market Square in Tideswell following reports that a resident had been bypassing electricity through a meter.

Richard Minnet (55) of Market Square, Tideswell has been charged with abstracting electricity. He is set to appear before magistrates in Chesterfield on Wednesday, July 23.
