Safer Neighbourhood officers will be heading out on the road to speak to residents about home security and issues affecting their community.
Officers from the Hathersage and Tideswell Safer Neighbourhood Team will be visiting Litton in the mobile police station between 4pm and 6pm on Thursday, July 24.
The team will also be taking Operation Illuminate to Bradwell on Friday, July 25 between 5pm and 7pm.
The annual drive, which is led by Derbyshire Dales Community Safety Partnership, sees police officers and council staff heading out into local communities to offer crime prevention advice. Residents will be able to pick up home security kits including ‘dusk til dawn bulbs’, timers and door chimes at discounted prices.
People living in the area are also invited to have their say on neighbourhood concerns during upcoming drop-in surgeries. The surgeries give residents the opportunity chat to their local police and raise any neighbourhood concerns with them.
The Safer Neighbourhood Team will be holding police surgeries on Friday, July 25 at Cliff College in Calver between 10am and 12noon.
The officers will also be visiting Bradwell in the mobile police station on Monday, July 28. The vehicle will be parked close to the Co-operative Store on Netherside, Bradwell between 10am and 12noon.
Discounted home security kits can also be purchased from your local police station or council officers with prices starting at just £1.
