Posted on 6th September 2017

Officers from the Tissington and Carsington Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team are taking to the road again to offer more residents advice and discounted crime prevention materials.

They will be bringing the mobile police station to Thorpe, Tissington, Parwich, Brassington, Carsington and Hognaston on Sunday, September 17 and reduced price items such as ‘dusk till dawn’ light bulbs, shed alarms and door chimes will be on offer.

It’s part of Operation Illuminate, an initiative funded by the Safer Derbyshire Dales Community Safety Partnership, which includes Derbyshire Constabulary and Derbyshire Dales District Council.

The team will be at:

  • Thorpe: 10am-10.45am, outside the pub
  • Tissington: 11am-11.45 am, near to the pond in the village
  • Parwich: 12 noon-12.45pm, outside the school
  • Brassington: 1pm-1.45pm, outside the school
  • Carsington: 2pm-2.45, outside the church
