Wirksworth and Middleton residents invited to set policing priorities

Posted on 15th January 2015

People living in Wirksworth and Middleton are being invited to raise any concerns with their local Safer Neighbourhood team at an upcoming community meeting.

PC Dan Mitchell and PCSO Sue Lester from the Wirksworth and Middleton Safer Neighbourhood Team will be hosting their next priority meeting from 5.30pm on Wednesday, January 28.

The meeting, which is set to take place at the Town Hall on Coldwell Street, Wirksworth, is a chance for local residents to raise concerns about crime in their area with the team.

Police will then set the community priorities to focus on for the next three months based on the feedback from local residents.

The current neighbourhood priority sees officers tackling anti-social behaviour, along with speeding vehicles in Middleton, Bole Hill and Steeple Grange.

If you cannot attend the meeting but have concerns that you would like to raise then please contact the Wirksworth and Middleton Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101.
