Buxton Rural residents are encouraged to set policing priorities for their neighbourhood

Posted on 15th July 2014

Police are asking members of the public to help them set local policing priorities at the upcoming Safer Neighbourhood governance meeting.

PCSO Pat Findlay-Wilson from the Buxton Rural Safer Neighbourhood Team will be hosting the next meeting on Wednesday, July 23 from 8pm.

The meeting, at the Great Rocks Pub in Peak Dale, is a chance for local residents to raise concerns about crime in their area with the team.

Police will then set neighbourhood priorities to focus on for the following three months, based on feedback from the public.

The current priorities are anti-social behaviour within the Buxton Rural communities and targeting off-road motorists in Peak Dale.
