Police in Buxton Rural want to hear your views on neighbourhood policing

Posted on 14th October 2014

Residents living in the Safer Neighbourhood areas of Buxton Rural are being invited to help set the policing priorities for their community.

PCSO Pat Findlay-Wilson will be hosting the next priority meeting from 8pm on Thursday, October 23.

The meeting, which is set to take place at the Great Rocks Club in Peak Dale, is a chance for local residents to raise concerns about crime in their area with the team.

Police will then set neighbourhood priorities to focus on for the following three months, based on feedback from the public.

The current priority sees officers in Buxton Rural focusing on speeding vehicles through Peak Forest and Batham Gate Road.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to put forward any issues contact your local Safer Neighbourhood policing team on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
