Heath Grove residents invited to chat with their local police officers

Posted on 16th April 2013

People living in the Heath Grove area of Buxton will be able to talk to police about issues affecting their neighbourhood at an upcoming surgery.

Officers from Buxton Safer Neighbourhood Team will be chatting to residents about any concerns they have and keeping them updated about police operations and campaigns.

The meeting will be held at the library in Kents Bank Road, Buxton, from 9am to 12pm on Monday, April 29.

PC Mark Parkinson, from the tea, said: “We wanted to hold a meeting to give people the chance to pop in and chat with us, without having to make an appointment or anything like that.

“They can discuss any policing issues with us and let us know about any problems they’re having that we might be able to help with.

“We’ll also be on hand to give out crime prevention advice and reassurance to anyone who visits.”

To find out more, call the team on 101.
