Officers appeal for information following Buxton restaurant break-in

Police investigating a break-in at a Buxton restaurant are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Offenders smashed a rear window of Number 13 restaurant and bar on Market Street, Buxton and gained entry inside.

The thieves carried out a search of the property and stole a large quantity of alcohol, mainly spirits, from within.

The incident took place sometime between 10.30pm on Sunday, October 5 and 8am on Monday, October 6.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact PC Jim Twort on 101 quoting crime reference 42191/14.
