Police are appealing for information following a Buxton dog attack

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a dog was attacked in the Buxton area.

A man was out walking his dog on Cote Heath Park at around 12pm on Friday, January 24, when another dog attacked it.

Both owners tried to separate the dogs but injury was caused to the neck of the husky.  

The offending dog, which was not on a leash at the time of the incident, is described as a grey bull terrier breed.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to get in touch. Anyone with information should contact Derbyshire police on 101.
