Witness appeal following alleged assault in Buxton

Police are appealing for information after a youth was allegedly assaulted in Buxton.

Between 11.15pm and 11.45pm on Saturday, October 25, the 17-year-old victim was walking down Terrace Road in Buxton, when he was approached by a man and assaulted.

The man punched the victim twice in the face and cut his chest using an unknown bladed article before walking away.

The victim was later treated by paramedics for minor injuries.

The offender is described as white, around 5ft 11ins tall with dark stubble. He wore a black hooded Adidas branded top with dark tracksuit bottoms.
