Posted on 13th December 2016

Police are appealing for information after a chemist in Buxton is targeted by thieves for the second time.

Sometime between 1am and 8am on Sunday, December 11, thieves used a large rock to smash the window of Clowes and Son Chemist on Cavendish Circus, Buxton. They then climbed inside and stole numerous bottles of perfume and aftershave from display.

This follows a similar incident at the chemist last month on Monday, November 28, whereby perfumes where stolen in the same way.

Officers are appealing to anyone with information, or who may have recently been offered bottles of perfumes for sale, to get in touch.
