Appeal after man is allegedly assaulted in Buxton

We’re appealing for information after a man was allegedly assaulted in Buxton.

It is thought incident happened sometime between approximately 9pm and 10pm on bank holiday Monday (May 1) in an alleyway between St. Peters Road and Nunsfield Road.

The victim, a 21 year old man, was found with two black eyes, a broken nose at the rear of Hall Bank, between Hartington Road and Eagle Street.

He is believed to have walked through the town centre despite being injured and officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the victim that evening or anything suspicious in these areas.
