We’re releasing an image of a bicycle similar to one which was stolen from a street in Buxton as part of an appeal to trace it.

The frame and one wheel of the bike, a red and black Talon mountain bike, were taken from Hardwick Square sometime between 12 noon and 3.15pm on Saturday, August 11.

The second wheel was stolen sometime overnight between Wednesday, August 15 and Thursday, August 16.

There have been sightings of the bike being ridden in the town centre, and we would like to hear from anyone with about where it may be.

Our officers would also like anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area during the time of the incident to get in touch.
