Around 80 tools stolen during Chinley burglary

Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Chinley where around 80 tools were stolen.

A mixture of hand and power tools along with electrician’s equipment was stolen from three temporary buildings at a construction site at Peak School, Buxton Road.

They were taken sometime overnight between Tuesday, October 18 and Wednesday, October 19.

Two cameras were also stolen during the break-in.

Anyone with information should contact Derbyshire Constabulary on 101, the new police non-emergency number or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
