Police appeal for owner of electrical item to come forward

Posted on 9th September 2013

Police are still trying to trace the owner of a generator found abandoned alongside other electrical items in Chinley.

It comes after three pieces of kit were recovered by Network Rail following an appeal sent out via the free community messaging service, Derbyshire Alert.

The items, including CCTV equipment and power packs, were found in Chinley in April and images were sent out by police to trace their owners.

Network Rail recognised some of the items and claimed them, but a Honda GX160 generator is still outstanding.
