Shoppers are invited to have their say at Chapel drop-in surgery

Safer Neighbourhood officers are heading out on the beat to chat to shoppers about issues affecting their community at an upcoming police surgery.

Officers from the Chapel and Chinley Safer Neighbourhood Team will be setting up shop at Morrisons on Market Street, Chapel-en-le-Frith to give residents the opportunity to have their say on local policing issues.

Residents are being encouraged to go along and chat to the team during the surgery between 12 noon and 1pm on Thursday, November 6. No appointment is necessary.

The policing team will be able to answer any questions on local policing and keep residents updated with police operations and campaigns.

Officers will also be on hand to speak to people about improving their personal, home and vehicle security to help to further protect themselves from criminals.

The Safer Neighbourhood team host regular surgeries to listen to local residents about any issues affect their community, head to the team’s page for upcoming events.
