Shoppers are invited to have their say at Chapel drop-in surgery

Posted on 20th March 2014

Police head out on the beat to chat to shoppers about neighbourhood issues as part of a drop-in police surgery.

Officers from the Chapel and Chinley Safer Neighbourhood Team will be setting up shop at Morrisons on Market Street, Chapel-en-le-Frith to give residents the opportunity to have their say on local policing issues.

The team will be hosting the surgery between 12 noon and 1pm on Friday, March 28 and are encouraging people to come along and speak to them about issues affecting their community. No appointment is necessary.

Officers will be on hand to speak to people about improving their personal, home and vehicle security to help to further protect themselves from criminals.

The policing team will also be able to answer any questions on local policing and keep residents updated with police operations and campaigns.

For more information, or if there is something you would like to raise but cannot attend the surgery call 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
