Chapel and Chinley residents encouraged to have their say on policing issues

Posted on 20th October 2016

Chapel and Chinley residents are invited to help shape neighbourhood policing by sharing their views on community issues.

PCSO Karen Green from the areas Safer Neighbourhood team is set to host a priority meeting in Chapel to hear about the issues that matter most to locals.

The meeting is a great opportunity for residents to raise any neighbourhood concerns that they have, along with picking up crime prevention support and advice.

PCSO Karen Green will then use the feedback to help set the Chapel and Chinley priorities for the next three months.

The meeting will run from 2pm on Tuesday, November 1 at Rems Café Bar on Market Street, Chapel.

Following the last meeting in August, the team have been working to tackle anti-social behaviour (ASB) at Chapel Memorial Park. This has involved carrying out high-visibility patrols of the area and speaking to any groups involved with ASB about the effects of their behaviour on people living nearby.

If you cannot attend the meeting but have concerns that you would like to raise then please contact the team on 101, or send them a message here
