Fairfield residents can get to know their new-look Safer Neighbourhood team at drop-in surgery

Posted on 25th July 2013

The new officers at Fairfield Safer Neighbourhood Team will be meeting and greeting local residents at their next drop-in surgery.

PC Steve Blore and PCSO Patrick Haley have taken over responsibility for the team and want to find out more about the issues and concerns of local people.

The pair – who took over from PC Graham Mason and PCSO Michaela Daniels – have been patrolling the area for the last few weeks and tackling problems such as car crime and anti-social behaviour.

They now want to hear about the issues residents want the team to focus on and will be hosting a meeting at Queens Court, in Queens Road, from 11am on Thursday, August 1.

PCSO Haley said: “We both know the area well and are aware of some of the issues people have but we wanted to give people the chance to come and meet us informally and tell us about their concerns.

“These meetings are also a great way for us to get to know the community we serve better, and for people to get to know us, too.”
