Fairfield residents are encouraged to set policing priorities for their community

Posted on 23rd July 2014

Residents in Fairfield are invited to join their local Safer Neighbourhood team to help set policing priorities for their area.

The Fairfield Safer Neighbourhood Team will be hosting their next governance meeting on Wednesday, July 30 from 2pm.

The meeting, which will be held at St. Nicolas Hall, Fairfield Community Centre on Victoria Park Road, will give people the opportunity to set local policing priorities for their area.

The policing team will then focus on combating the issues raised and will keep residents informed with their work to tackle the crimes.

Officers from the team will also be on hand to offer crime prevention advice to help residents to increase their personal, vehicle and home security.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to put forward any issues contact your local Safer Neighbourhood policing team on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
