Fairfield residents urged to have their say on local policing

Posted on 12th February 2015

Residents in Fairfield are being invited to have their say on policing priorities for their local area.

The Safer Neighbourhood team is hosting a priority meeting on Monday, February 23 at Fairfield Community Centre on Victoria Park Road from 2pm.

PCSO Patrick Haley and PCSO Sophie Rost will be on hand at the event to meet local residents and give them a chance to raise any concerns about issues in their community.

Officers will then use public feedback to set policing priorities to focus on for the next three months.

Current priorities for the area are theft from unattended vehicles and residential bin dipping.

If you’re unable to attend the meeting but want to have your say, contact the team on 101. Alternatively, to keep up to date on local policing in your area, follow the team on Twitter @FairfieldSNT
