Two arrested following Gamesley drugs warrant

Two people have been arrested as part of a police crackdown on drugs activity in Gamesley.

At around 10.15am on Wednesday, November 5, officers executed a search warrant at a property on Bradwell Terrace, Glossop.

Suspected Class A drugs and a quantity of cash were discovered by police at the address.

A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of Class A drugs at the time of the incident.

He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs and money laundering.

A 25-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of money laundering, and was later arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs and being in possession of Class A drugs.

Both suspects have since been bailed pending further police investigations.
