A mosaic that was created as part of a community arts project has been stolen from woodlands in Gamesley.
Sometime between 4pm on Wednesday, April 8 and 9.30am on Thursday, April 9, thieves used tools to prise off and steal a mosaic from a tree along the Gamesley woodlands path.
The mosaic was created by members of Project eARTH, as part of an Arts and Wellbeing project for those experiencing mental distress or other long term conditions. The mosaics were placed along the Gamesley Woodlands path between Charlesworth and Simmondley to brighten up the trail.
Police are asking anyone with any information as to the whereabouts of the mosaic to contact them.
