Free football sessions are kicking off to keep Glossop kids entertained over the school summer holidays.
Glossop Safer Neighbourhood Team has helped organise the weekly events along with Derby County in the Community.
Kids from the Whitfield area can lace up their boots and get netting the goals every Monday for the next few weeks, from 10am to noon and 1pm to 3pm.
The sessions will be led by Derby County trainers and officers from Glossop SNT will be attending regularly to chat to youngsters about staying safe over the summer.
They will also be talking to them about the consequences of taking part in anti-social behaviour.
PCSO Rick Bowman, from the team, said: “The scheme is a great way for local youngsters to get involved with a fun activity.
“It’s open to boys and girls and is intended to cut anti-social behaviour issues over the summer by offering young people a diversionary activity to take part in.
“The more people that take part, the better so if you know someone who would be interested, send them along.”
The sessions will be held at the multi-use games area at Whitfield Recreation Ground, Glossop.
