Witness appeal following alleged assault in Glossop Town Centre

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man and woman were allegedly assaulted on Norfolk Street in Glossop.

At around 2.10am on Saturday, December 13, a woman came into an argument with a man on Norfolk Street when another man stepped into to break up the argument.

The offender is then believed to have punched both the woman, and the man who stepped in, several times.

A 22-year-old man was later arrested and questioned by police before being released on bail.
