Police have arrested five people on suspicion of drugs offences following two warrants in Glossop.
At around 8am on Friday, April 24, officers executed a warrant at a property on Hague Street in Glossop.
Once inside, a rucksack containing a suspected Class B Drug was discovered outside a window at the rear of the property, along with drugs paraphernalia and mobile phones.
It is believed that the electricity meter at the property had also been bypassed.
Two men, aged 26 and 31-years-old, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs and abstracting electricity. Both have been bailed pending further inquiries.
On the same day, police executed a warrant at a property on Gladstone Street in Glossop which saw a quantity of suspected Class B drugs, mobile phones and cash being seized by officers.
A man and a woman at the address were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs and have since been bailed pending further investigations.
A 20-year-old woman was arrested at the same address after handing over a small quantity of suspected cannabis to attending officers. She was later issued with a penalty notice for possession of Class B drugs
