High Peak residents urged to have their say on local policing

Posted on 12th June 2015

Residents living in the north of the High Peak borough are being invited to share their views on local policing.

The community survey is a chance for local people to rate the level of their local police service and discuss any issues or concerns in their neighbourhood that officers and partner agencies may be able to address.

The review is aimed at residents living in the Buxton North policing section, which covers Glossop town centre, Hadfield, Padfield, Tintwistle, Gamesley, Charlesworth, Chisworth, Whitfield, Old Glossop, Dinting, New Mills and Hayfield.

It is hoped that the completed surveys will help to shape policing in the future and officers can use feedback to improve performance, set targets and priorities for the areas.
