Posted on 3rd March 2017

Three men have been charged in connection with a burglary after a BMW was stolen from a house in Glossop.

In the early hours of Sunday, February 26, thieves gained entry to a property on Hollin Cross Lane in Glossop.

Once inside, they stole a Panasonic 46” TV, an iPhone 5S, and UGG boots, before taking keys and driving off in the homeowner’s black BMW.

Our officers tracked the vehicle and it was stopped by our colleagues in South Yorkshire. The men made off from the car with two being detained at the scene, and the third being arrested at a later date.

Lothar Ali (37) of Errington Road, Sheffield, Carl Flowers (48) of Cradock Mews, Sheffield, and Ivor Martin (44) of Erskine Road, Sheffield have been charged with burglary.

Ali, Flowers, and Martin appeared at Chesterfield Justice Centre on Tuesday, February 28 and have been remanded to appear Derby Combined Court Centre later this month.
