Appeal after mountain bike is stolen from outside a shop in Glossop

Posted on 30th June 2017

We are appealing for information after a 13-year-old boy’s mountain bike was stolen from outside a shop in Glossop.

The bicycle was taken from outside the pavilion shop in Manor Park at around 4.30pm on Saturday, June 10.

PCSO Ann Morris of the Glossop Town Centre Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team has been making enquiries. She said: “If anyone has any information about this incident, or if they saw anything suspicious please contact us.

“We would also like to remind youngsters to be a bit wary, and to not leave bikes, scooters or skateboards unattended and insecure. Lock them up if you have to leave them, as it can only take a few minutes for it to be stolen.”

The bike is a B’Twin Rockrider and is black in colour.

Anyone with information should call PCSO Ann Morris on 101, quoting reference 17*243931, or send her a message online through the Contact Us page of the website: www.derbyshire.police.uk/Contact-Us.

You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
