Police appeal for witnesses after car is damaged in Hadfield

Officers from the Hadfield Safer Neighbourhood Team are appealing for information after damage was caused to a vehicle in the area.  

Sometime between 4pm on Wednesday, August 20 and 8am on Thursday, August 21, offenders used a sharp instrument to cause damage to the paintwork of a blue Toyota Auris.

The incident took place on Etherow Way in Hadfield.  

Officers are urging residents to remain vigilant and to report suspicious activity to police on 101 or 999 in an emergency.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact PCSO Brian Buller on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
