Information appeal following number plate thefts in Hadfield and Tintwistle

Police are appealing for information following the theft of registration plates from vehicles in Hadfield and Tintwistle.

Sometime between 5.30pm and 9.30pm on Sunday, February 16, offenders stole the front and rear number plates from a black Renault Clio that was parked on Brosscroft Village, Hadfield.

Between 5pm on Sunday, February 16 and 6.45am on Tuesday, February 18, a black Ford Focus was targeted on Old Road, Tintwistle. Offenders removed both registration plates from the vehicle.

Overnight between 9pm on Sunday, 16 and 9am on Monday, February 17 a silver Toyota Prius had both number plates removed from Conduit Street, Tintwistle.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously around the times of the incident or has CCTV in the area.
