More than 50 suspected cannabis plants discovered at a Tintwistle property

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after officers executed a warrant at a property in Tintwistle, Glossop.

At around 11.20am on Friday, November 14, police carried out a warrant at an address on Conduit Street, Tintwistle. Whilst inside they discovered more than 50 suspected cannabis plants and associated equipment inside.

It is believed that the electric meter at the property had also been bypassed.

A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and abstracting electricity. He has since been bailed pending further inquiries.
