Appeal after vandals slash tyre of Hadfield car

We are appealing for information after vandals slashed the tyre of a car in Hadfield.

Offenders used a sharp object to cut the tyre of a silver Toyota Yaris which was parked in Albert Street Car Park, Hadfield.

The incident is believed to have taken place sometime between 4pm on Friday, March 3 and 5.30am on Monday, March 6,

PCSO Tracey Collins from the Hadfield and Tintwistle Safer Neighbourhood Team: “We are appealing to anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the car park last weekend to get in touch.

“This damage could have resulted in a serious accident. Thankfully, the driver stopped their car early on in the journey after they noticed the flat tyre.”
