Hope Valley residents are invited to set the policing profile for their community

Posted on 2nd April 2014

Hope Valley residents are invited to attend the upcoming Safer Neighbourhood governance meeting to help set policing priorities for their community.

The next meeting will be held at Hope Dental Clinic on Eccles Close, Hope Valley from 11am on Wednesday, April 16.

The Safer Neighbourhood governance meetings are held quarterly to give people the chance to set local policing priorities for their area by raising any concerns for their community.

The local Safer Neighbourhood team will then focus on combating the issues and keep residents updated with their work in the area.

PC Graham Mason and PCSO Steven Rogers will be on hand to offer crime prevention advice and chat to residents about any neighbourhood concerns and listen to their views on local policing.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to put forward any issues contact your local Safer Neighbourhood policing team on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.

You can also submit priority suggestions online by heading to the Safer Neighbourhood team's page.
