Information appeal following theft from a vehicle in Bamford

Police are appealing for information following theft of tools from a vehicle in Bamford, Hope Valley.

At around 9am on Thursday, April 3, offenders stole tools from an open back Ford Transit Tipper.

An orange Husqvarna masonry saw, a yellow wacker plate and a yellow Stihl saw were taken from the vehicle that was parked in a bus layby on Mytham Bridge.

Officers are appealing to anyone with any information to the crime, which took place around 9am, to get in touch.

Anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the incident is asked to call 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
