Man charged in connection with High Peak burglaries

We have charged a man in connection with burglaries across the High Peak, dating back to 2015.

Our officers in Buxton CID have been investigating a number of burglaries and outbuilding breaks which have taken place across the High Peak in 2015, which saw quad bikes and tools being stolen.

James Chesterton (24) of Castleton Road, Hope was charged with burglary last on Saturday, March 4 in connection with the incidents. He is set to appear at Derby Crown Court on Friday, March 31.

Buxton CID are currently running Operation Landfield targeting the theft of quad bikes and associated rural crime in the High Peak and Derbyshire Dales area.
