Drop-in police surgeries for residents in New Mills and Hayfield

Posted on 15th August 2014

Residents in New Mills and Hayfield are being invited to upcoming drop-in surgeries to speak to officers about any issues affecting their community.

The Safer Neighbourhood team will be visiting New Mills Library on Hall Street, New Mills to give people the opportunity to chat to them in a relaxed environment.

Officers from the New Mills and Hayfield Safer Neighbourhood Team will be heading to the library between 5.30pm and 6.15pm on Thursday, August 21.

They will also be hosting a drop-in surgery on Tuesday, September 2 between 10am and 10:45am. No appointment is necessary.

The policing team will be on hand to speak to people about improving their personal, home and vehicle security to help to further protect themselves from criminals.

Officers will also be able to answer any questions on local policing and keep residents updated with police operations and campaigns.

For more information or if there is something you would like to raise but cannot attend the surgery call 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
