Residents invited to have their say at upcoming police surgeries

Posted on 6th January 2014

New Mills and Hayfield residents are invited to help set policing priorities for their area at upcoming surgeries.

The Safer Neighbourhood team will be setting up shop at New Mills Library, Hall Street, to chat to residents about any issues or concerns they may have in their community.

The team will be on hand to offer crime prevention advice and keep local residents updated about police operations and campaigns.

The dates for the next round of pop-up shops have been set.

New Mills Library, Hall Street

The pop-up shops are replacing the quarterly governance meetings to allow the team to be more accessible to members of the public by setting up the surgeries at busy locations.

To speak to your local Safer Neighbourhood policing team, call 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
