Information appeal following damage at Hayfield beauty spot

Police are appealing for information after damage was caused at the Lantern Pike beauty spot in Hayfield.

Sometime between 3pm and 4pm on Monday, March 30, offenders used tools to cause damage to a large cross that had been placed there by Churches United as part of an annual ceremony.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call PCSO Lee Baker on 101, quoting crime number 13337/15.
