New Mills officers appeal to help trace missing wedding ring

Posted on 27th April 2015

Police are appealing to the New Mills and Hayfield community to help trace a missing wedding ring.

The New Mills and Hayfield Safer Neighbourhood Team were contacted after a woman lost her wedding ring sometime between Sunday, April 19 and Tuesday, April 21.

PCSO Lee Baker from the local policing team said: "The ring holds significant sentimental value to the owner and we are asking for people to keep their eyes peeled for it in the area, especially around High Lea Park, close to the swings.

"If you do find the ring, please hand this in at New Mills Police Station so that we can get the ring back to its rightful owner."

To speak to the New Mills and Hayfield Safer Neighbourhood Team call 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
