Victim shares sketch of valuables stolen from Little Hayfield car

Posted on 4th October 2016

A Little Hayfield artist has sketched valuables taken by thieves in the hope of having them returned.

Sometime between 8pm and 9pm on Saturday, September 17, thieves stole a suitcase from a Black Honda CRV that was parked on the driveway of a property along Glossop Road, Little Hayfield.

The suitcase contained sentimental items, including six pairs of earrings and three necklaces, one of which was made of beaded antique glass. A whittling knife, from the 1900s with a unique horn handle was also stolen.

Following the theft the victim has since drawn the images to help trace the valuables.

Anyone with information or who may have been offered the items for sale is asked to contact PCSO Lee Willows on 101, quoting 16000302420.
