Officers in Whaley Bridge want to hear your views on neighbourhood policing

Posted on 21st October 2014

Whaley Bridge residents are invited to help set the policing profile for their community.

PC Ellen Barlow and PCSO Tracy Jones from the Whaley Bridge Safer Neighbourhood Team will be hosting their next priority meeting from 7.30pm on Monday, November 3.

The meeting, which is set to take place at the Mechanics Institute on Market Street, Whaley Bridge, is a chance for local residents to raise concerns about crime in their area with the team.

Police will then set neighbourhood priorities to focus on for the following three months, based on feedback from the public.

The current priority for the area sees officers working to tackle anti-social behaviour around Whaley Bridge parks.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to put forward any issues contact your local Safer Neighbourhood policing team on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
