Whaley Bridge residents invited to set policing priorities

Posted on 12th January 2015

People living in Whaley Bridge are being invited to raise any concerns with their local Safer Neighbourhood team at an upcoming community meeting.

PC Graham Mason and PCSO Tracy Jones from the Whaley Bridge Safer Neighbourhood Team will be hosting their next priority meeting from 7pm on Monday, January 26.

The meeting, which is set to take place at the Mechanics Institute in Whaley Bridge, is a chance for local residents to raise concerns about crime in their area with the team.

Police will then set the community priorities to focus on for the next three months based on the feedback from local residents.

The current neighbourhood priority sees officers tackling speeding vehicles through Furness Vale.

If you cannot attend the meeting but have concerns that you would like to raise then please contact the Whaley Bridge Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101.
