This Safer Neighbourhood area covers Barlborough. It belongs to the Bolsover policing section. Barlborough is an old village situated next to junction 30 of the M1 motorway. It is in effect split into 2 sites, the old village and the new development known as the Links. Its close proximity to the motorway puts it within easy commuting distance of Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham.

Issue was set on 10/03/2016
Actions to be taken are as follows:
  • Regular patrols to be carried out in the area and motorists to be advised about the issue.
  • Traffic Offence Reports issued to any motorists who ignore the access only sign.
  • Officers to hand out newsletters in the area to raise awareness of the issue and encourage motorists to park responsibly.
