Residents in Clowne are being urged to have their say on local issues and help to set policing priorities for their area.
PCSOs Suzanne Fox and Simon Galley from the Clowne Safer Neighbourhood Team are set to host a community panel meeting at Clowne Community Centre on Monday, July 6 from 5pm to 6pm.
The event is an opportunity for local people to speak to officers about any issues or concerns in their neighbourhood.
Officers will then use feedback to set policing targets to work towards for the next three months.
The current priority for the team is working to tackle nuisance motorbikes in and around Linear Park in Clowne. This aim was set following a previous meeting with local residents in March this year.
Officers have been carrying out regular patrols in the area and speaking to nuisance riders about the effect that their behaviour has on the local community, along with advising how further action will be taken where necessary. The team have also been working closely with partnership agencies to consider longer term solutions for the issue.
Anyone who is unable to attend the meeting but would like to have their say is urged to contact the team on 101.
