Issue was set on 15/04/2015
Actions to be taken are as follows:
  • Officers will be carrying out increased police patrols in the area.
  • The team will be advising youngsters, and any groups who are found to be causing a nuisance will be dispersed from the area.
  • Persistent offenders will be issued with warning letters or dealt with appropriately by the team.
  • Officers will work alongside partner agencies to consider setting up diversionary activities for youngsters.
  • The team will be speaking to local residents to speak to them about the issue and offer crime prevention advice to help them to boost their security.
  • Residents will be encouraged to report ASB by calling 101, or 999 in an emergency.

Actions to be taken are as follows:
  • Officers will be carrying out regular patrols in the Linear Park area to speak to nuisance riders and deter the issue.
  • Motorbike riders will be advised about the effect that their behaviour has on the local community and how further action will be taken where necessary.
  • The team will work closely with partnership agencies to find longer term solutions to issues of anti-social behaviour.
  • Local residents are being actively encouraged to report any incidents of nuisance behaviour to police on 101 or 999 in an emergency.
